Life of a Consumer

Life of a consumer in India is not an easy one. Always forced to purchase sub standard products and services promoted as standard, our very mind is forced to believe that these products and services are indeed, of standard quality. Let me be clear, I'm talking not only about the products available in your local super market, but also products like electronics and cars.
This may be because of  two-three factors... our past .. meaning our history and our government's post-independence policies. Another factor is that we are so used-to these sub standard things that we readily accept them as normal, maybe because we have not experienced better services and products.
Whatever the reason is, it is really frustrating when this happens. It's even more so when you realise that the product sold here is of poor quality

5 Things to Miss When College Starts

Colleges in some parts of the country are going to start soon (including mine). And I guess we all love college but also love our home.So for that matter I give you 5 Things to Miss When College Starts :
  1. Home Food
  2. Not knowing your grades
  3. Not getting up early in the morning for those hated classes
  4. Not worrying about those assignment deadlines
  5. Having enough time to do anything you want but still doing nothing

The Quantisation Of Gay-f*ckiness

Our (me, Bapi n JD) encounters with the various gay-f*cks, have led us to propose the theory of gay-f*ckiness.
Here are the postulates:

1. The amount of gay-f*ckiness is directly proportional to the number of irrelevant questions asked in unit time.

2.  The units are proposed as Sh and At, where 1 Sh = 10 At.

Note:
1. The units are in memory of the biggest gay-f*cks we have ever met. And 1 Sh is a very very large unit (like 1 Farad), so it cannot be assigned to common gay-f*cks. Most of the gay-f*cks  are of the order of 1 micro Sh to 1 milli Sh.

2. The authors of this revolutionary theory are Bapi, JD and yours truly. This theory has been made after extensive survey of gay-f*cks and is an experimental theory. It cannot be proved but only applied.

End sems

The First Semester is coming to a close. But not so easily, before that we have end sems. Exams! What to say .. everyone knows what its all about. You don't want to study, but you want to get good grades. The eternal conflict!
Here at IIIT-H ,  we had a great start to exams. Our first lab test was cancelled due to electric problems with the computers! So everyone had a field day!
Anyways with the end of first sem I'm sure we learnt lots of things, made loads of friends and had a blast.

PS: Will be adding more stuff once these wretched exams get over! ;)
